At this point I’m pretty sure that it’s the sprints in my cleats that are hurting my shins and not the running with jogging shoes. I only have about 75 miles on my running shoes. They shouldn’t have been worn out yet. They were fitted to my feet when I bought them (video of my stride and all that when i bought them) and haven’t ever had any problems until i started doing softball.
Might try some gel inserts for them to see if that helps with the shins.

If it was the Charlottesville Running Company that fitted your shoes, I’d still go see Ragged Mountain Running Shop. CRC did my first shoes, and even with their fancy “video gait analysis” they sold me TOTALLY the wrong shoes. RMRS fixed the problem and got me in good shoes. At the very least, let RMRS watch you run in your current shoes and offer an opinion.
