BodyPUMP kicked my ass today. Well, more like it strangled my arms and legs but the point is the same. Ow. I really need to work with weights more. I didn’t feel like my heart rate got too high (we’ll check the monitor readings later) but there were several reps I just skipped because I couldn’t get my arms/legs to move anymore. I left about 10 minutes before it ended just so I could manage to walk out :) I knew it was going downhill when I wasn’t able to get my arms up high enough to wipe sweat off my nose. I’m taking a few minutes now to drink water and get my arms to stop shaking… typing is interesting. All in all, I was in there for about 45 minutes. Nothing like a cardio workout with a barbell.
