Oh, so from yesterday. It was a bit difficult to get out of bed this morning physically so I’m going to try to loosen up during the day and try to run after work. No rowing machine for today though. Ow.

Bucked up (and actually took some ibuprofen - yes I had some) and ran my first day of the new running week plan. 1.87 miles in 30 minutes. I think it was less distance but longer runs (90sec and 3min) than before. It doesn’t seem like a lot compared to some others but it’s a really good point for me from not running much at all before. Still sore from the workout Sunday but the run helped loosen up my legs a bit.

No HR details since I forgot that stuff at home when I left for the gym.

Weight - 299.0 (I’ve been drinking some gatorade and perhaps that’s making me retain some water too)

Minor comment — go easy on the Gatorade. It’s pretty hi-cal stuff, and not really necessary unless you’re having blood sugar issues or doing serious endurance training. Chocolate milk is actually a good choice for a recovery drink; you get more nutritional benefits per calorie, and it gives you a good balance of sugars and protein.
