Interval running (C25K - Week 3) for 27 minutes and about 1.74 miles. I’ve realized that I have been running faster than my pace should be right now. By bumping the speed for the running portion back to about 5.2 or 5.1 I can maintain a pace where I’m not gasping for breath during the 3minute running section. My triceps are still rediculously sore but it’s getting better and I’m looking forward to doing some weights soon.

Workouts will be just about only running though this coming few days as I have to go home for my cousin’s funeral and they only have a treadmill at home. Pushups and calf-lifts it is!

    I’m sorry to hear about your cousin.

    A rule of thumb I’ve been told is that you should be able to say the Pledge of Alegency without gasping while running, otherwise you are probably going to fast.
