Running for 20 minutes (~5 min warm up and cool down each) for 2.17 miles. Running pace is around 13-14 min/mi and overall my pace is somewhere near 15 min/mi. Not too bad in my mind. Plus, it means there’s alot of room to improve.

Running (no interval today!) for 35 minutes and 2.5 miles. Did one 20 minute run and it went very well and made for a great workout. Feeling good today and thought the whole thing went much better than I had expected. Hopefully I’ll maintain the 20 minute runs for the rest of the week and start adding on to that.

Did my warmup walk and then stretched a bit and then did the run and it seemed to make my legs feel significantly better. Should be a good way to do it from now on.

Interval running with two 10 minute runs for 35 minutes and 2.20 miles. I think it’s getting easier enough that I can either go for the 20 minute run or — more likely — bump the time up to like 12 or so for the runs. My 305 ran out of battery halfway through my thing so no data for me today. Having it in my bag and keeping it in the trunk while I’m at work seems to sap the battery life during the day. I just about have to charge it each night to keep it at a working level.

Did resistance after work and it seemed to go better than it has in the mornings. Not sure if it’s just progress, doing upper-body before lower, or being later in the day. Gym was really busy though and I didn’t like that too much. I like the slower mornings far better.

Rowed for 3 minutes afterwards just to loosen my muscles a little. My upper-body stretches don’t do much for me and rowing seems to do just as well as anything else I’ve tried. Yoga might help though too with that. Ended up being about 700m distance in the time.

Legs were hurting today after the first 10 minute run. I walked during the 2nd 10 minute run 5 minutes into it. Mostly was just in my shins and was getting uncomfortable so I played it safe. Ended up being 1.95 miles in about 30 minutes. I transferred over to the bikes and rode for 28 minutes and went 10.25 miles. That felt more comfortable than the weight-bearing exercise. Everything feels fine now so it may have just been the running that was difficult today.

Resistance training (it sounds so much more political than it really is) and rode stationary bike for 15 minutes (something around 4 miles).

Interval running - two 10 minute runs with 3 minutes between them; ended up being 38 minutes and 2.5 miles. Went pretty well this time. I stuck with a more level path and it really only has 2 hills that are a problem (or at least tougher than the gradual inclines). I kept my heart rate at a more reasonable rate though and think this was a success.
