Exercise No Comments

Hiking up Crabtree Falls. Gorgeous views and a decent workout for walking/jogging. I jogged up little parts of it just to work a little harder (and I was lagging behind from taking pictures at times). It ended up being 2.16 miles in about 2 hours and elevation from 1400ft to about 2300ft in that distance. Nice trails but I should have taken my hiking boots instead of tennis shoes :)

Exercise, Weight No Comments

Since I’m done with the intervals pretty much now I’m going to go to just writing down my running time and distance. Assumed is that there’s a 5 minute warm up and a 5 minute cool down in the appropriate places before/after my running. Just an explanation for anyone reading this of why my distances and times suddenly drop (I’m not slacking off that much).

Running outside 1.86 miles in 27 minutes. Average pace is about 14:30/mi. Slower than I’d hoped but then again, I ran for 27 minutes… yay me! It was a great morning to run, just a tad under 60F outside and a slight drizzle at times (refreshingly like and nice). Good stuff.

Construction stuff (not really working out but I had to open a jar that was REALLY tough). Also, lots of PVC gluing so I was fighting for breath a couple times.
